What to Expect

Enfidha-Hammamet Airport (code: NBE) has a recently built terminal that handles a few year-round routes to and from Europe as well as dozens of seasonal flights in summer. Amenities include a few shops and dining options. One eatery, Violet, is open 24 hours year-round, with additional eateries open 24 hours in the summer months. For added comfort while you wait, economy class passengers can pay to use the lounge. See Airport Lounges in the guide below for location and access information.

Sleeping in Enfidha Airport

We do not yet have any sleep-related airport reviews.  For uninterrupted sleep, the closest hotels are located in Port El Kantaoui, about 22 minutes away, or Hammamet, about 35 minutes away. See our Airport Hotels section below for more info or read some traveller airport reviews for more tips.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security.  Pay-per-use, Single Visit Passes & Lounge Memberships

Regardless of what class of service you are flying, there is a lounge that you can enter by paying at the door, purchasing a lounge pass or through a lounge membership program. Visit the individual lounge page for more details about the lounge itself and to also find out how you can gain lounge access with just an economy class ticket!

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available throughout the airport. The machines are operated by BNA, STB Bank, La Post Tunisienne, QNB, BIAT and Amen Bank. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Location: Arrival and Departures Halls.

Currency Exchange – There are branches of QNB, Amen Bank, BNA, La Post Tunisienne and BIAT located in Arrivals and Departures Halls, all of which provide standard banking services.

Duty Free & Shopping – There are 2 duty free shops open 24-hours on the Arrivals and Departures levels. There are also a few independent shops selling souvenirs and crafts.

Food & Drink – Food concessions throughout the airport operate with varying schedules. Violet (Departures Hall) and Cakes & Bakes (Arrivals) are open 24 hours a day, year-round. The following options are open 24 hours a day during summer months only: Belvedere (airside, near Gate 13 B-101) • Café-Inn (Departures) • Greenport (airside, end of corridor).

Information Desk – If you have any questions, there is an information desk staffed by multilingual staff. Location: Departures and Arrivals Hall. Hours: open 24 hours.

Luggage Porter – Free porters are available in the Arrivals and Departures hall.

Luggage Storage & Lockers – Not available.

Medical Services – A medical center is located on the east side of the Departures Hall, opposite check-in counter # 60. Hours: open 24 hours.

Mobile Charging – At the time of this update, we did not have any information about mobile charging availability. If you know, click here to update this airport guide.

Pharmacy – Drug Store by Adel is located in the Departures Hall. There is also a medical clinic on the east side of the Departures Hall.

Showers – Not available.

Travel Agencies – If you are arriving in Enfidha and need local arrangements or help planning a really last minute trip abroad, there are a few travel/tour agencies with offices at the airport that can probably be of assistance. Hammamet Travel Service, Tunisian Travel Service, Eden Tours and Voyage 2000.

Avis car rentals office is located in the arrivals hall on your right side after exiting from customs.

Public Transportation

  • Free Shuttle Bus: TAV Tunisie runs a free shuttle bus for passengers. Two shuttles depart from specific points in Tunis and Hammamet daily.
  • Bus: TAV Tunisie runs a series of regular bus routes that connect the airport with Enfidha City, Sousse and Hammamet. For fares, schedules and routes, visit the Enfidha Airport website.
  • Train: The city of Enfidha is served by a rail system, at the time of this December 2017 update, further details are unknown.

Taxi

The airport partners with Touristic taxi services, which use either a meter or a fixed price service.
