What to Expect

  • A small, but modern international airport with two separate terminal buildings for domestic and international flights. Shopping and dining options are limited.

Where to Sleep

  • There is a row of hard wooden benches in a protected open-air check-in area. Have a sleeping bag or travel mat and blanket handy for added comfort!

Seychelles Airport Information

In this guide we may refer to locations as "landside" and "airside". Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

Airport Lounges

Pay-per-use, Single Visit Passes & Lounge Memberships

Regardless of what class of service you are flying, there is a lounge that you can enter by paying at the door. Visit the individual lounge page for more details about the lounge itself and to also find out how you can gain lounge access with just an economy class ticket!

  • Salon de Valee de Mal - Location: Airside, first floor, departure lounge. Showers are available. Lounge Access: Pay at the Door (Rs.200)

More Services, Facilities & Things To Do On A Layover At The Airport

  • ATMs / Cash Machines - Need cash? ATMs are available. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: 3 ATMs can be found Landside, outside the concourse area. There are no ATMs available Airside, in the departure lounge.
  • Baby Care Facilities - The airport has nursing rooms and baby change facilities in the arrival and departure halls.
  • Baggage Carts - Need a hand with your luggage? Baggage carts are available free of charge in the baggage claim area.
  • Children's Play Area - There is a play area for children located in the departure lounge, airside.
  • Currency Exchange - Bureau de Change is located next to the baggage claim area, airside.
  • Duty Free & Shopping - Duty free available airside. Other shops are available in the departure lounge as well as a small gift shop landside.
  • Food & Drinks - At the time of this update, there are no 24-hour food and beverage concessions available at this airport. In the departure hall, there is a bar, a cafe, and a restaurant.
  • Information Desk - The information desk is located in the arrival hall.
  • Luggage Storage & Lockers - Not available.
  • Luggage Wrapping - Seywrap offers baggage wrapping. Location and cost unknown.
  • Medical Services - Yes. A nurse is available in the First Aid room inside the terminal building.
  • Mobile Charging - At the time of this update, we did not have any information about mobile charging availability. If you know, write a review or email us at guides@sleepinginairports.com.
  • Postal Services - Drop off your last minute postcards at the airport's mailbox. Locations: Landside, outside the departure lounge and the arrival hall.
  • Rest Zones - Not available.
  • Showers - Showers are available with separate facilities for men and women. The shower room is located in the main concourse. Showers are also available in the Lounge.
