Jiuzhaigou Airport Information

In this guide we may refer to locations as "landside" and "airside". Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport


Mini-buses are available from the airport to several local attractions. Tickets can be purchased inside the airport near the washrooms. Since the earthquake in August 2017 some destinations are not accessible, plan ahead.

Shuttle Bus

A shuttle bus is available from the airport to the Huanglong National Scenic Reserve, making stops at several hotels along the way. Tickets are available from inside the terminal.


Taxis are readily available for hire in the ground transportation area of the airport. You may need to agree on a fare with the driver before starting your journey.
