Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport

Although not very reliable, public buses are an option if you are traveling light and on a tight budget. A list of bus routes that access the airport is available from the Tourist Information booth in Arrivals. Note - as of this December 2017 update, it seems that there may be a short walk involved to access the buses, be sure to inquire when asking at the airport.

Prepaid taxis are readily available for hire in the ground transportation area of the airport. Stop at the taxi booth outside of Arrivals to pay for your ride. You will receive a ticket to give to your taxi driver before boarding the taxi.

Pro-Tip: A reader tells us, they have a fixed price for taxis, RM 26 for the farthest, but from 12:00AM - 6:00AM they charge 50% more.
