caracas airport guide

In this section you will find traveller airport reviews as well as our Caracas Airport Guide with info on WiFi, lounges, facilities and services....and yes, even the names of some airport hotels in case you decide that sleeping in the airport is not for you!

A few tables with bench seating. Once you get that spot, don't leave, someone else will come by and get it. The rest of the seating was chairs at tables. Not comfortable, but seemed perfectly safe. - HRies

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport

City Bus

Travel like the locals do! If your load is light, you can travel at a fraction of the price of a taxi by taking one of the local red SITSSA buses. Purchase a rechargeable card ticket from the kiosk inside of the airport terminal before boarding the bus.

Taxis are readily available for hire in the ground transportation area of the airport. For safety reasons, do not accept rides from taxis that already have passengers. There are no meters, so negotiate a fare with the driver before starting your journey.
