Found decent spot for some sleep but noise all night kept me up

    7.6.2018

Pros: There is decent spot to lay down but not easy to find

Cons: Most places are not comfortable to lay down, noise all night

I finally found a good spot at BWI to lay down – a few rows of chairs with no armrest- It is the only good place I have found there-near the Dunkin Donuts on the 2nd floor there are a few rows of chairs with no armrests and by outlets for your phone/computer. The problem the night I was there was all night construction which made it impossible to get some sleep due to noise. Overall, this is not a great airport to spend the night- too few places to lay down comfortably to obtain rest.

It was okay- not great or terrible

    27.12.2017

Pros: Not bothered by security or staff

    Cons: uncomfortable bench-somewhat noisy

I got in at 12 AM for early AM flight- the good- I was not bothered by security/staff and they let me sleep on bench before flight and I got a little sleep. The bad-bench was uncomfortable-long wooden bench with grooves in the bench made for an uncomfortable night sleep (and that was the best thing to sleep on I could find)- It was okay-Portland, Oregon airport was better to get a nights sleep before early AM flight from my experience since they had long row of chairs I could lay down in comfortably.

    The vents are warm

When security is closed, your stuck. The areas across security with some wooden benches are ok, but I found the marble slab with vented grate better. Pick out a section, lay in your side and feel the warm air. I have more respect for those sleeping on grates now.

    Alarm testing

    21.07.2016

We checked online to see which terminal Delta flew out of, it said C, however it's really D. We went C and found nice banks of flat chairs with various amounts of arm, 10+ banks with no arms. There were even a few with charging stations under neath, these were primarily by gates C3 and C5. The one shop stayed open until 12:30, time for the last flight to leave. At 11:30 the cleaning people decended, but cleaned around us. I asked them if we needed to pick our bags up and they said no. At 2am they started testing the safety alarms…no announcement was made until after the fifth test, so that was a little shocking wake-up. We had to switch to terminal D, which meant going through security again, be ready for the morning rush, thenTSA people were not as friendly in the AM as the PM when we went through. McDonald's opens at 5, be in line early.

Has a few nooks that you can hid out in for a nap. Restrooms are god awful and food is slim pickings.
