Comfortable Night's Sleep for a Pilgrim

    11.08.2015

(Guest Review by peregrina americana) I had an early flight out of Santiago, and in order to avoid paying for a taxi (and an albergue!), I opted to take the bus (only 3 euros) to the airport and spend the night there. I was pleasantly surprised to find it a decent sleep environment. I suggest heading upstairs, just outside of check-in. The lights are partially dimmed, there are no arm rests so you can lay down on the chairs (!!!), and things stayed quiet / peaceful all night. Easy to find nearby outlets, vending machines, and bathrooms. Concerned about being alone? Don't worry, there must have been at least 20 other pilgrims there 🙂 Buen camino!

Santiago de Compostela – Wonderful surprise

    01.08.2013

(Review by terryle) When I came in the evening I had to recharge my phone battery, so I had to make my camping-mat and sleeping bag in the corridor close to the electric plug. I expected to be told to leave by the cleaners who were driving around with the cleaning vehicles. But I wasnt, they didnt say a word!
