    Go through security first

Pros: Comfy chairs with electrical sockets both before and after security check.

    Cons: Wi-fi does not work.

(Review by Riverbirch1967) The wi-fi lounge has comfortable chairs and tables with sockets. However, not all the sockets work, so check them before settling in. I found only one which worked. Since these chairs have a table, you can put your feet up. I pulled two chairs together and put my luggage in the middle, with the table on the outside, for security reasons. After going through security, I found even better chairs and all the sockets worked, but no tables and no chairs close together unless you drag them. The stores close, so get your food first.

    Shreveport Airport

I got here a day early. Nice and friendly service. Slept overnight in landside. Not comfortable but cheaper than a hotel. Nice place to depart from.

    No Wi-Fi

There are signs all over this airport that state "Wifi Hot Spot." The wi-fi is apparently free. I could not get the wifi to work anywhere in the airport…sitting directly under the signs. It is a sad day at the airport when you are stuck there for 2-4 hours unable to connect to wi-fi…twiddle your thumbs while thinking about all the work you need to be doing but can't. Immensely frustrating. I'm sure if they had the option for people to pay for wi-fi they would…I ended leaving the airport while waiting for my husband's flight to get in…even after having paid $9 for parking I could not stay stuck at that place. There is one food option and they aren't very good…overpriced of course. The airport seemed fairly clean, though.
