Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport


The airport is served by Bus No 300 which operates between Tórshavn, the Airport and Sørvágur. For rates, routes and to ensure the bus schedule is not affected by the weather, visit the Strandfaraskip website.

Car Rentals

Avis and Unicar have car rental kiosks in the airport terminal. Hertz, Europcar and Sixt are all represented at the airport with Visit Vagar.

Taxis and Shuttles

Both metered taxis and shared-ride shuttles serve the airport during airport hours of operation. Reservations may be required. For taxi service, contact Auto Taxi or Bil Taxi. For scheduled, door-to-door shared-ride service, contact Hammer Shuttle.
