What to Expect
The terminal at Menorca Airport (code: MAH) primarily handles seasonal flights, especially in summer, its busiest time. Amenities include a variety of eateries and shops, particularly airside, as well as free WiFi.
Sleeping in Menorca Airport
Overnight stays are not possible as the airport is closed from 12:30AM until 7:00AM. For uninterrupted sleep, nearby hotels offer shuttle service. See our Airport Hotels section below for more info or read some traveller airport reviews for more tips.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airport Hours
The airport is open from 7:00AM – 10:30PM (summer season) • 6:00AM – 9:00PM (winter season).
Airport Hotels
There are no hotels at Menorca Airport, but there are a few small hotels between the airport and the city of Mahon, a 10-15 drive away. Visit Tripadvisor to see a list of hotels in Mahon, search deals and read traveller reviews.

Pay-per-use, Single Visit Passes & Lounge Memberships
Regardless of what class of service you are flying, there are lounges that you can enter by paying at the door, purchasing a lounge pass or through a lounge membership program. ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: Arrivals Hall, Floor 0 • Departures Hall, Floor 1.
Children’s Play Area – When you want to ensure your kids burn off all their energy before their flight, take them to one of the children’s play areas. Location: Boarding Area, Floor 2 (2 locations) • Baggage Claim (2 locations). There is a separate “Children’s Room” located in the Departures Hall, Floor 0.
Currency Exchange – Best and Fast Change offers currency exchange services. Location: Landside, Baggage Reclaim Hall, Floor 0. Hours: Unknown.
Drinking Water – Water fountains are located Airside, Floor 1 between boarding gates of 3/4 and 14/15.
Duty Free & Shopping – Duty-free shopping is available airside in Departures (Floor 2). A variety of gifts, books, and other merchandise are available for sale at shops located throughout the airport.
Food & Drinks – Food concessions throughout the airport operate with varying schedules. A variety of coffee shops, pubs, and a burger/steak restaurant can be found Landside (3 options) and Airside (3 options).
Information Desk – If you have any questions, visit the Airport Information Desk for assistance. Location: Check-In, landside, Floor 1 • Parking Area.
Luggage Storage & Lockers – Not available.
Mailbox – Location: Landside, Departures, Floor 1.
Mobile Charging – A reader tells us “There is a large area with sofas and lots of charging stations both USB and plug, opposite Cafe Pans, next to gate 2 at departures.”
Pharmacy – Location: Departures, landside, Floor 1. Hours: 9:00AM – 2:00PM (Mon-Fri), 5:00PM – 8:00PM (Sat) 9:00AM – 2:00PM (Sun).

Bus
Bus line 10 links the airport to the central bus terminal in Mahon from where you can connect to the other bus lines serving the island. Buses operate from the airport to the city from 5:55AM – 12:25AM (June – September) and from 5:55AM – 10:15PM (October – May). Departures are available every 30 minutes. At the time of this update, a one-way ticket is €2.65.
Car Rentals

Taxi
Taxis are readily available at the taxi rank in front of the Arrivals Hall at the main terminal. Note that taxi fare prices increase after 9:00PM until 6:00AM.
