Volgograd Airport Information

In this guide we may refer to locations as "landside" and "airside". Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

Pay-per-use, Single Visit Passes & Lounge Memberships

Regardless of what class of service you are flying, there are lounges that you can enter by paying at the door or through a lounge membership program (ie. Priority Pass). Visit the individual lounge page for more details about the lounge itself and to also find out how you can gain lounge access with just an economy class ticket!

  • VIP Lounge - Location: Airside. Lounge Access: Pay at the Door. If you are paying at the door and travelling with a translator, they can direct you to the area where you can pay the entrance fee.

There appears to a hotel near the airport, as the airport has included it on their web site. However, they have omitted important details such as name and location. More Services, Facilities & Things To Do On A Layover At The Airport

  • ATMs / Cash Machines - Need cash? ATMs are available. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: unknown.
  • Baby Care Facilities - A Mother and Child room is available which includes a kitchenette, 2 single beds, a cot, changing table, play area and more. This room is accessible to adult travelers with children aged 7 and under. Entry is free, but a passport, flight ticket, and medical clearance certificate (granted by the First Aid clinic) is required for access to the facility. Locations: In the airport hotel, opposite Terminal A • Terminal C. Hours: Open 24 hours.
  • Beauty Salon - Visit Seven Stars Hair Salon for a haircut, manicure, etc. Location: 2nd Floor, Domestic Terminal. Hours 9:00 AM - 9:00PM.
  • Car Rentals - Yes.
  • Duty Free & Shopping - Duty Free is available as well as a small selection of shops including Caviar (3 shops) and a magazine shop. Hours: unknown.
  • Food & Drinks - The airport offers 2 restaurants/bars Landside and 1 Airside. Hours: unknown.
  • Luggage Storage and Lockers - Location: Ground Floor of Domestic Terminal. Rates: 300 RUB per bag for first 24 hours, 50 RUB per bag/day thereafter. Hours: 24 hours.
  • Luggage Wrapping - Machines are available at the entrances of the Domestic and International Terminal. Rates: RUB 500 per bag. Hours: 24 hours a day.
  • Medical Services - Services are available at the airport’s Health Center. Location: 1st Floor, International Terminal, left side. Hours: 24 hours.

  • Pharmacy - Healthy People - Located on the Ground Floor of Domestic Terminal. Hours: unknown.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport


Local bus route 6E (Central District) links the airport with Central Railway Station, with buses running in 15 minute intervals. Route 6K (Dzerzhinsky District) travels to and from the Technological College, with departures available every 10 minutes.

Car Rentals

Avis offers car rental services onsite.


Travel like the locals do! If your load is light, you can travel at a fraction of the price of a taxi by taking a “marshrutka” (shared-ride minibus), which travel along fixed routes. Marshrutkas on route 6 stop at the airport.


Taxis are readily available for hire in the ground transportation area of the airport.
