To help you plan your layover or overnight sleepover, here is a quick run-down of what to expect during your time at Bariloche Airport.

What to Expect

  • The decent-sized single terminal connects to several domestic and international destinations in the region.
    WiFi is available. See WiFi information in the airport guide below.

Where to Sleep

  • The airport closes at night, so sleeping overnight at the airport is not possible.
  • As of October 2018, we have no reviews from travellers who have used this airport. Write a review to help future travellers!
  • For uninterrupted sleep, there is one hotel near the airport, but it does not provide airport shuttle service. See our Airport Hotel section below for more info.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

Airport Lounges

Pay-per-use, Single Visit Passes & Lounge Memberships

Regardless of what class of service you are flying, there is a lounge that you can enter through a lounge membership program (ie. Priority Pass). Visit the individual lounge page for more details about the lounge itself and to also find out how you can gain lounge access with just an economy class ticket!

Airport Hotels

If sleeping in Bariloche Airport does not appeal to you, there are hotels near the airport:

  • Cabanas Huala Hue – (8 minutes from the airport) This is the closest and only lodging near the airport. No airport transfers. » Check Rates

More Services, Facilities & Things To Do On A Layover At The Airport

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Location: Terminal C, Landside and Terminal A, Landside.

Duty Free and Shopping – Duty Free is available in 3 locations Airside, Terminal A, 1st Floor • Terminal B, 1st Floor • Terminal C, 1st Floor. The airport also provides a small selection of clothing, souvenir and newspaper shops for any last minute needs. Hours: unknown.

Food and Drinks – You will find restaurants/coffee shops in all Terminals with Terminal A offering the most variety. Hours: Not known but there are no 24 hour options.

Information Desk – Location: Arrivals Hall, Terminal C.

Luggage Storage & Lockers – Not available.

Luggage Wrapping – Available in 3 locations: Terminal A, 2 locations both Landside • Terminal C, Landside.

Pharmacy – Available in Terminal A, Landside, Ground Floor.

Rest Zones – Not available.

Showers – Not available.

Airport Hours

The airport is open from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Sleeping in the airport overnight is not possible.


As of October 2018, Bariloche airport is served by the following airlines: Aerolíneas Argentinas • Andes • Austral Azul Linhas • FlyBondi •.LATAM • Norwegian.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport

Buses and Colectivos

Public bus 72 runs between the airport and city center for about AR$12, but the fare is payable only by magnetic card, sold at the 3 de Mayo ticket offices. Bus stop is at the parking lot.

Car Rentals

Alamo/National, Avis, Hertz and Localiza offer car rental services onsite.


Metered taxis are readily available in the ground transportation area of the airport, just outside of the terminal on the ground floor. At the time of the last update, the average fare between the airport and city center is AR$140. Unfortunately, we do not have the current rate.
