What to Expect
Biarritz Airport (code: BIQ) has a smaller, older terminal that operates a few year-round flights as well as many seasonal routes. Facilities are limited to a couple cafes and shops. WiFi is available for a fee.
Sleeping in Biarritz Airport

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport
Bus
Chronoplus local bus network serves BIQ airport with multiple bus routes. Line C provides service to he Biarritz Train Station, Anglet, Bayonne and Bidart. Line no.14 can also connect you to many surrounding areas. A one-hour ticket is €1.00, or for €2.00 you can purchase a ticket good for up to 24 hours of travel on the Chronoplus network. Chronoplus (line 3), Flixbus, Blablacar provide bus service to further surrounding areas such as Hendaye, Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Landes, Lourdes, Toulouse, etc.
Bus service between the airport and Spain is offered by two private companies. Pesa and Conda offer service between Biarritz Airport and San Sebastian or Pamplona.

RDTL serves the Landes coast and departs from the Bayonne SNCF train station, while the TER trains serve the Basque mountain region.
