What to Expect

Clermont-Ferrand Airport has a small terminal that serves a few regional and seasonal flights. Facilities are limited to a restaurant, a convenience shop, and a gift shop. Where to Sleep

The airport closes from 10:30PM until 5:00AM, so it is not possible to spend the night here. For uninterrupted sleep, nearby hotels offer shuttle service. See our Airport Hotels section below for more info.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Location: Landside, to the right of the terminal entrance.

Duty Free & Shopping – Duty Free shopping is not available. Trib’s (including a Relay convenience store and a souvenir shop) is the only shopping available at the airport.

Food & Drinks – The airport’s only full-service restaurant is located on the 2nd floor. Hours: unknown. Snacks, beverages, and grab-n-go meals are available for purchase at Trib’s, which also doubles as the airport’s newsstand and gift shop. Airside offers Heart of Volcano which sells local products as well as take-away items.

Luggage Storage & Lockers – Not available.

The airport is open from 5:00AM – 10:30PM.

Airlines

As of November 2018, Clermont Ferrand Aulnat airport is served by the following airlines: Air Corsica • Air France • HOP! • Ryanair • TUI Fly.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport

Buses

The T2C bus route 20 connects the airport and the city centre. The route runs daily, tickets are €1.50 (as of January 2018) and can be purchased on the bus; the ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Timetables available on the Clermont-Ferrand Airport airport.

Trains

Line 6 of the local train line connects the airport and the city center in 10 minutes. The train station is a 5-minute walk from the airport, and connects via footpath. As of this January 2018 update, a ticket costs €1.90. Timetables are available on the Clermont-Ferrand Airport website.

Taxis

Taxis are available just outside the terminal. As of this January 2018 update, fare between the airport and the city centre is approximately €20-30, and takes about 10 minutes.
