Conakry Airport Guide

Whether you have a layover, overnight sleepover or you are just quickly passing through, our Conakry Airport Guide is a great place to start planning your visit.  Here, you’ll find information on services and facilities available inside the airport – including details about airport lounges, WiFi, mobile charging points, lockers, 24-hour food options, nearby hotels, and everything in between.

Airport Overview

To help you plan your layover or overnight sleepover, here is a quick run-down of what to expect during your time at Conakry Airport.

What to Expect

  • This is an older, small, single terminal airport that sees about 300,000 passengers per year on a few connections to western and northern Africa, and a couple longer-haul flights to Europe.
  • According to the airport website, before accessing the check-in area you must obtain a health declaration form. To do so, proceed to the Airport Health Control area where they will take your temperature. If your temperature is 38 ° C or higher you are required to undergo further checks by the airport’s health team. A second temperature reading will be taken just before boarding.
  • WiFi is available. See WiFi information in the airport guide below.
  • Economy class travellers can pay to access one airport lounge; showers are available. See our Airport Lounges section for locations and rates.

Where to Sleep

  • As of November 2018, we have no reviews from travellers who have used this airport. Write a review to help future travellers!
  • For uninterrupted sleep, there are hotels near the airport, but ask about airport shuttles as some charge or do not provide any. See our Airport Hotels section below for more info.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.
