To help you plan your layover or overnight sleepover, here is a quick run-down about what to expect during your time at Conakry Airport.
What to Expect
Conakry Airport has a small, recently renovated terminal that serves domestic and international destinations. Facilities include a few eateries and shops, though none are open 24 hours. WiFi is available for a fee or inside the airport lounge, which economy class passengers can pay to enter. The lounge also has shower facilities. See Airport Lounges in the airport guide below for location and access information.
Where to Sleep
We have no reviews from travellers who have slept at this airport, but one review mentions that seating is in short supply. If you’ve visited recently, please write a review to help future travellers! For uninterrupted sleep, nearby hotels offer shuttle service. See our Airport Hotels section below for more info.
Good To Know
According to the airport website, before accessing the check-in area you must obtain a health declaration form. To do so, proceed to the Airport Health Control area where they will take your temperature. If your temperature is 38 ° C or higher you are required to undergo further checks by the airport’s health team. A second temperature reading will be taken just before boarding.
In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.
Pay-per-use, Single Visit Passes & Lounge Memberships
Regardless of what class of service you are flying, there is a lounge that you can enter through a lounge membership program (ie. Priority Pass). Visit the individual lounge page for more details about the lounge itself and to also find out how you can gain lounge access with just an economy class ticket!
