Derry Airport has a small, recently renovated terminal that connects to a few regional destinations. Amenities include a full-service restaurant, a cafe, and a couple shops. The free WiFi helps pass the time. For added comfort while you wait, economy class passengers can pay to enter an airport lounge. Where to Sleep

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport
Ulsterbus links the airport to the Bus Depot on Foyle Street in the city center, with connections available to buses serving northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. For fares, routes and schedule information, visit the Translink website.

City Cabs operate 24-hours a day from a dedicated taxi rank located in front of the airport. At the time of this February 2019 update, an average one-way trip between the airport and city center costs £11.00, and takes about 20 minutes.
