What to Expect
Emerald Airport (code: EMD) consists of a small, recently renovated terminal that primarily operates flights to Brisbane. Facilities are very basic, which include a kiosk offering snacks and beverages. WiFi is available for fee. For added comfort while you wait, economy class passengers can pay to enter an airport lounge. See Airport Lounges in the guide below for location and access information.
Sleeping in Emerald Airport

The airport is open Monday – Friday, from 5:30AM until last flight departure, usually around 8:00PM. On weekends, hours of operation are minimal due to limited flight service.

Car rentals are available in the main terminal building. Companies represented here are: Avis • Budget • Hertz • Thrifty.
