What to Expect
Emerald Airport consists of a small, recently renovated terminal that primarily operates flights to Brisbane. Facilities are very basic, which include a kiosk offering snacks and beverages. WiFi is available for fee. For added comfort while you wait, economy class passengers can pay to enter an airport lounge. Where to Sleep
This airport closes nightly, so overnight stays are not possible. For uninterrupted sleep, nearby hotels offer shuttle service. See our Airport Hotels section below for more info.
In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.
Pay-per-use, Single Visit Passes & Lounge Memberships

The airport is open Monday – Friday, from 5:30AM until last flight departure, usually around 8:00PM. On weekends, hours of operation are minimal due to limited flight service.
