Airport Overview

To help you plan your layover or overnight sleepover, we are here to give you the low-down on what travellers have reported back to us about their time at Fort Smith Airport.

What to Expect

Fort Smith Airport consists of a small airport with two gates. Amenities are very limited, with only a restaurant serving BBQ and burgers. The good news is that WiFi is free and there are plenty of comfortable armchairs throughout. No pay-to-use airport lounges are available.

Where to Sleep

This airport closes nightly, generally between 11:45PM and 4:00AM, so it is not possible to stay overnight. For uninterrupted sleep, a few nearby hotels offer shuttle service. See our Airport Hotels section below for more info.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

Airport Lounges

There are no pay-per-use lounges in the airport.
