Sleeping in Iquique Airport

We do not yet have any sleep-related airport reviews.  For uninterrupted sleep, there are hotels within 35 minutes of the airport, though only one provides airport shuttle service for a fee. See the Airport Hotels section below for locations, or read traveller airport reviews for more tips.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airport Hotels

There are no hotels at Iquique, so you will need to stay in town, which is a 30-minute+ drive away.  Visit Tripadvisor to see a list of hotels in Iquique, search deals and read traveller reviews.

Pay-per-use, Single Visit Passes & Lounge Memberships

Regardless of what class of service you are flying, there is a lounge that you can enter by paying at the door, purchasing a lounge pass, or using a lounge membership program. Shared-ride buses and minibuses offer service to and from the airport. Services can be found in both the Domestic and International Arrival areas.


Metered taxis are readily available for hire in the ground transportation area, near the Domestic and International Arrivals halls.
