Linköping Airport (code: LPI) has a tiny terminal that connects to a couple regional locations. Facilities are basic, with a restaurant, vending machines, a shop, and free WiFi.
Where to Sleep
Spending the night here is not possible due to the airport’s limited operating hours. For uninterrupted sleep, hotels are nearby. See our Airport Hotels section below for more info.
Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, all services and times listed below are subject to change. In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.
At the time of this update, there are no airport lounges that economy class travellers can pay to use.

Food & Drinks – The airport has only one restaurant, open from 9:00AM – 4:00PM (Mon-Fri). Note: the restaurant is closed July 9th – August 5th. Vending machines are also available.

The airport is open from 4:30AM – 6:00PM & 9:30PM – 11:00PM (Mon-Fri) • 4:30AM –7:00AM, 4:00PM – 6:45PM & 9:30PM – 11:00PM (Sat) • 4:30AM – 7:00AM, 3:00PM – 5:45PM & 9:30PM.
Note: Hours vary during the summer season and sleeping in the airport overnight is not possible.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport
Onsite car rental services are offered by Avis • Europcar • Hertz • Sixt.
For bus and train connections, take a taxi to Linköping Travel Centre (Resecentrum).
Taxi Kurir offers door-to-door shared-ride shuttle service to LPI airport with a maximum of two other people. Service should be booked in advance.
Taxis are readily available outside of the airport terminal. Flygtaxi (airport taxi) service should be booked at the same time as your plane tickets.
