What to Expect

Milos Airport (code: MLO) has a tiny, outdated terminal that primarily handles flights to Athens. Amenities are limited to a cafe.

Where to Sleep

The airport has very limited operating hours, making overnight stays impossible. For uninterrupted sleep, nearby hotels offer shuttle service for a fee. See our Airport Hotels section below for more info.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

There are no pay-per-use lounges in Milos Airport.

Airport Hours

The airport operates under limited hours. Depending on the day of the week (and the season), it may only be open from 8:30AM – 11:00AM and again from 3:00PM – 7:00PM. It is best to check with the airport before arriving. These hours are in effect until October 31, 2019.


Milos airport is served by the following airlines: Olympic Air. Note: other airlines may serve the airport on a seasonal basis.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport


Public buses are available during the summer season. The bus station is located 100 meters from the airport terminal.


Taxis are available.

Car Rentals

Two companies offer onsite car rental services: Athena Travel and EuropCar.
