In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.
Pay-per-use, Single Visit Passes & Lounge Memberships
Regardless of what class of service you are flying, there is a lounge that you can enter by paying at the door or through a lounge membership program (ie. Priority Pass). ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs, operated by ČSOB Bank, are available. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. ATM. Location: Departures Hall and at the Information Service center.
Baby Care Facilities – A nursing room is available for diaper-changing, breastfeeding, and infant care. Changing tables are available here and in the restrooms in the connecting corridor to the Public Hall.
Children’s Play Area – When you want to ensure your kids burn off all their energy before their flight, take them to the children’s play area. Location: Airside, 1st Floor, across from the Duty Free shop.
Currency Exchange – Available at Ostrava Information Service – Hours: 7:00AM – 4:00PM (Mon, Wed, Fri) • 7:00AM – 6:00PM (Tues, Thurs) • Closed (Sat & Sun).
Duty-Free & Shopping – Aelia Duty-Free. Hours: Varies according to flight schedule. Location: Gate A (ground floor) and Gate B (1st floor). You will also find a Relay Shop available during flight operations. Location: Departures Hall (Landside).
Food & Drinks – At the time of this update it is not known whether there are any 24 hour food options. The following are open during flight operation hours: Mattoni Grand Cafe (Location: Departures Hall, landside) • Bistro Gastro Cafe (Location: Landside, at the connecting corridor) • Bar (Locations: Gate A, ground floor and Gate B, 1st floor).
Information Desk – Handling P1 & P2 parking payments, excess baggage payment, luggage storage, luggage wrapping, payment of Business Lounge access fees, airport souvenirs, flight information, and photo copying service. Location: Departures Hall (landside)
Luggage Wrapping – Luggage Shrink Wrapping is available 2 hours before departure of charter flights and 1 hour before departure of commercial flights. Rates start from CZK 80.
Luggage Storage & Lockers – Available at the Information Desk.
Ostrava Information Service – Local travel information, ticket sales for local events and sports, and currency exchange. Also sells phone cards, beverages, maps, guide books, cigarettes, and other sundries. Location: Arrivals Hall (landside) Hours: 7:00AM – 4:00PM (Mon,Wed,Fri), 7:00AM – 6:00PM (Tues,Thurs). Closed Saturday and Sunday.

Smoking – A smoking room can be found on the 1st Floor, across from Gate B1 and on the Ground Floor, across from Gate A3.
The airport is open 24 hours.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport
Ostrava Airport is served by five different buses. Tickets are sold onboard the bus. For more information, visit the Ostrava Airport website.
Avis, Budget, Europcar and Hertz offer car rental services onsite.
Taxis are available from a taxi stand located in front of the Arrivals Hall.
Located next to the Departure Hall, Ostrava Airport train station is served by train line S4. Train tickets are sold onboard and in the Arrivals Hall of the airport terminal.
