What to Expect
The small terminal at Skyros Airport handles commuter flights to Athens and Thessaloniki Facilities are limited to a snack bar. We are unable to confirm whether WiFi is available.
Where to Sleep
Due to very limited operating hours that change seasonally, overnight stays are not possible. For uninterrupted sleep, hotels are nearby. See our Airport Hotels section below for more info.
In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.
There are no pay-per-use lounges in Skyros Airport.

The airport operates under very limited hours. It is open 6:30AM – 1:30PM (Mon, Wed, Thurs), 6:30AM – 2:30PM (Tues), closed (Fri), 6:30AM – 11:30AM (Sat) and 9:00AM – 3:00PM (Sun). The hours are extended slightly and the airport is open Fridays during high season (Jun 1 – Sep 30).
It is best to check with the airport before arriving. These hours are in effect until October 31, 2019.
As of February 2019, Skyros airport is served by the following airlines: Olympic Air • Sky Express.
Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport
Pegasus offers car rental services onsite.
Taxis are readily available for hire in the ground transportation area of the airport. At the time of this February 2019 update, the one-way fare between the airport and Skyros city center is €18.
