A brand new international terminal services seasonal and charter flights from China. Amenities include a few eateries and shops, a designated rest zone, and free WiFi. At the time of this update, there are no 24 hour concessions. You will find four restaurants on the 3rd Floor. Hours vary with the Rich Burger Factory being opened the earliest at 6:15AM. All restaurants close at 8:20PM. Vending machines are also available on the 3rd Floor.

Storage lockers are available. Location: 1st Floor, on the right side of the main entrance. Hours and rates are not known.

There is a rest area available on the 1st Floor in the baggage claim area. At the time of this update, no further details are known. If you have information, click here to update this airport guide.

Take precaution even when sleeping in the rest zones.  In December 2019, a traveller at another airport reported that money and credit cards had been stolen from their bag even though the bag was right beside them.  Protect and lock your bags as you would sleeping elsewhere in public.

More Services, Facilities & Things To Do On A Layover

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: 1st Floor, on the right side of the main entrance.

Baby Care Facilities – If you are travelling with an infant, there is a baby care room for breastfeeding and diaper-changing. Locations: 1st Floor, on the right side of the main entrance • 3rd Floor, left side near the shops.

Currency Exchange – Not available.

Duty Free & Shopping – It is not known if Duty Free shopping is available. You will find a variety of shops selling local specialities. A 7-Eleven (Hours: 6:15AM – 9:10AM) may come in handy for last minute snack and drink needs. Most of the other shops operate from 6:15AM – 8:20PM.

Information Desk – Have any questions? Visit the airport Information Desk for assistance! Location: 1st floor, centre hall. Hours: unknown.

Medical Services – Automatic defibrillators can be found on the 1st and 3rd Floors.

Observation Deck – Relax and watch planes taking off and landing from the vantage point of the airport’s observation deck. Location: 3rd Floor.

Smoking – Smoking is permitted in designated areas on the 3rd floor (both Landside and Airside).

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport

Bus

The airport is connected via bus to the city including Tokushima Station for onward travel destinations. The journey to the Tokushima is 40 minutes* and costs 440 yen. For more information, visit the Tokushima Awaodori Airport website.

Taxi

Taxis are readily available at the airport. As of this update, sample approximate fares are: Matsusige (High Speed Bus Terminal) for 1,400 yen (8 mins) • Tokushima Station for 3,800 yen (25 mins) • Naruto Station for 2,300 yen (20 mins) • Naruto Park for 4,600 yen (30 mins).
