What to Expect

The small terminal at Wuyishan Airport (code: WUS) handles primarily domestic flights. A few eateries and shops are available, but we have no further details. WiFi is available inside two airport lounges, which economy class passengers may be able to access. See Airport Lounges in the guide below for location and access information.

Where to Sleep

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: main entrance, 1st Floor.

Baby Care Facilities – If you are travelling with an infant, a nursing room is available. Location: Airside, 2nd Floor.

Food & Drinks – There is a coffee shop and a tea shop available both landside and airside, hours are not known.

Luggage Storage & Lockers – Not available.

Luggage Wrapping – Protect your bags from theft and damage by having your bags wrapped in plastic. Location: 1st Floor, Landside. Hours and rates are not known.

Medical Services – If you feel unwell or injure yourself, a first-aid room can be found on the 2nd Floor. Hours: unknown.

transportationAirport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport


Bus route #6 and #9 connect the airport to the city. At the time of this update, the fare is 2 yuan. There is also a shuttle that takes passengers to Star village, Xiandian and Sangu resort, with a fare of only 2 yuan.


Taxis are readily available for hire in the ground transportation area. There are no meters, so negotiate a fare with the driver before starting your journey. As of this update, the suggested fare into the city center is 40 yuan.
