Xining Airport has a single terminal divided into domestic and international concourses. Amenities include shopping and dining options, though we have no further details. Free WiFi helps pass the time.

Where to Sleep

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

Airport Lounges

Pay-per-use, Single Visit Passes & Lounge Memberships

Regardless of what class of service you are flying, there is a lounge that you can enter through a lounge membership program (ie. Priority Pass). Airport Hotels

If sleeping in Xining Airport does not appeal to you, it is best to head back to Xining city center, as there are no hotels in or near the airport. Airport WiFi/Internet

Medical Services – If you feel unwell or injure yourself, a medical center can be found on the East side of Departure Hall, 1F. Hours: unknown.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport

Airport Buses

An airport bus service operates according to daily flight schedule, dropping passengers off at the airport 2 hours prior to a scheduled flight and greeting each arriving flight. There is a bus stand just outside of the Arrivals hall exit door.

Car Rental

There is a car rental agency office located at the southwest corner of the airport parking lot, which is open 24 hours a day.

Taxis

Taxis are readily available for hire in the ground transportation area of the airport.
