Terminals Information

(Guest Review by Massimo) I went throw this web page where travelers get information about Maputo airport. About the Terminals it is written no where that Maputo International airport has 2 Terminals: Terminal 'A' for international flights and Terminal 'B' for domestic flights. For a person living in Maputo this information perhaps it will be so obvious that it is not so important to be mentioned... but for a traveler who has never been in this airport it is important to know that there are 2 Terminals.... logically, before any other information, this is the first thing that an airport guide should indicate. It is also worth to mention on the guide that these 2 Terminals are close to each-other (about 150 meters distance) but the two buildings are not connected thus these are two separate structures. Therefore if you arrive in Terminal 'A' and you need to go to terminal 'B' (or vice-versa) you will have to go out of one terminal and walk for about 150 meters to the other terminal along a comfortable walking path dedicated to pedestrians. More over, airports normally have a schematic guide map to show to passengers basic information.... as far as Maputo airport is concerned, I did not find this map anywhere.

I looked at the guy and his features changed dramaticly into a huge grin!..was HE a faggot I thought?..he started to laugh out loud..ALLELUJAH..I thought he understands me, or was I using my little finger for directions? I thought? but NO he pointed me into the right direction,...phew! that could have been very dangerous for me I was thinking as I ran to relieve myself, after that escapade I think I could fly from ANY Airport in the world..no problem! just as long as I know where the toilets are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" From an african country you cannot expect better. The personnell is friendly though sleeping in the building might not be allowed - no experience with that...The guys with their guns dissapeared by now - the total situation of the country has changed drastically over the last 8 years!" It is a small, old un-airconditioned building with many guards with large guns who keep the area free of loiterers. Crime is also reputedly to be high, so sleeping in this particular airport is certainly not recommended."
