  • The airport opens 45 minutes before the first scheduled flight, and closes 30 minutes after the final flight, so sleeping here overnight is not possible.

New Plymouth Airport Information

In this guide we may refer to locations as "landside" and "airside". Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

Scott’s Airport Shuttle is New Plymouth’s only dedicated airport shuttle. Shuttles can be booked online or over the phone in advance.

At the time of this update we were able to find only one hotel that offers an airport shuttle: King and Queen Hotel Suites.
