What to Expect

Springfield-Branson Airport (code: SGF) consists of a small, modern terminal with a single concourse with 10 gates. There are three eateries on the airside and one on the landside, along with newsstands on both sides of security. WiFi is available to help pass the time. There are no private lounges at this airport.

Sleeping in Springfield Airport

Art Gallery – The airport’s “Sky Gallery” has a rotating exhibit of fine art. Locations: Landside. Hours: open 24 hours.

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs, operated by Empire Bank, are available. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: Landside, near the airport administrative offices • Airside, in the concourse.

Baby Care Facilities – If you are travelling with an infant, there is a nursing room for breastfeeding and diaper-changing. Location: Airside.

Duty Free & Shopping – No duty free available. There are two small shops that sell souvenirs and newspapers. Shops open at 5:00AM and close at approximately 6:00PM or after the last flight.

Food & Drinks – There are no 24-hour food concessions available. Most locations are open 30 minutes before the 1st flight until the last flight of the day. Here are the food options:

  • Landside – Traveller’s House Coffee
  • Airside – Tailwinds Concessions • The Riverbend.

Information Desk – An information kiosk is available offering maps and brochures. Location: Center of the lobby.

Luggage Storage & Lockers – Not available.

Medical Service – Need medical attention? Emergency personnel are on staff 24 hours a day.

Mobile Charging – A reader mentioned that there are charging stations Airside by Gate 7-10. Counters (4 of them) have 8 outlets each at this location. If you know of other charging points, click here to update this airport guide.

Postal Services – Drop off your last minute postcards at the airport’s mailbox close to the administrative offices (Landside).

The airport is open 24 hours.

Keep in mind that TSA, airline check-in and baggage drop hours vary according to the flight schedule. Check these hours with your airline. If you are in the public area of the terminal (landside) you will not be able to get through to the secure area of the terminal (airside) until the morning.
