Currency Exchange – Currency exchange is available in the international terminal, near the end of the parking lot.

Food & Drinks – At the time of this update, we don’t know if there are any 24-hour food and beverage concessions available at this airport. The international and domestic terminals each have a cafe and a restaurant. Hours of operation are unknown.

Layover Sightseeing – If you are looking for something to do before or after arrival, there is a nearby crocodile farm called Croc Farm Ivato. it is approx. 8 minute drive from the airport.

Airport Shuttle

ADEMA Navettes offers a convenient and economical shuttle service between the airport and several key points in Antananarivo, including door-to-door service to your hotel. At the time of this update, we are told that this service has been temporarily halted as a new management company takes over. If the shuttles aren’t back up and running, taxis are a convenient alternative.

Minibus

Travel like the locals do! If your load is light and you’re not pressed for time, you can travel at a fraction of the price of a taxi by taking a white-colored Taxi-Brousse shared-ride minibus (known locally as ‘Taxi-Be’). These minibuses tend to get crowded and make many stops along their specific route. Be sure to confirm that your minibus is going to your stop before you board.
