tell us how much this airport rocked!

by ?
As you would expect, a pretty tiny airport. There are several rows of chairs at the one end of the terminal where it would be possible to spread out for a while. There is literally no security here i.e. functioning x-ray machine or metal detector. One other observation is that the Russian built planes flying out of here don't seem to have completely pressurized cabins. Once we reached a certain altitude, just about everyone on the plane was sound asleep. This happened on the Timbuktu to Mopti flight and again on the Mopti to Bamako one. The pilots must be used to this since they were the only ones that seemed to be able to stay awake."
