"Mulu is an excellent airport for sleeping in particularly the air conditioned departure area. The outdoor concourse is quite pleasant as well with lots of comfortable benches and no staff to hassle you. When the humidity and/or rain gets too intense out there you can simply walk 20 feet and you're within the glassed in departure lounge. Since there never seems to be more than half a dozen persons on any given flight, incoming or outgoing, there's plenty of room around to make yourself at home.
