"I've been there in 1996. It wasn't supposed to be a connection, but the plane was broken and we had to get off. It's like a shopping centre, with lots of stores and a great view from the city. The seats are great, they make you feel really comfortable. But don't think of sleeping in there. At night, smugglers and prostitutes stare at the square in front of the airport. It's so hot that you'll feel like if you were in an oven. AVOID IT!! And avoid flying with VARIG from Fortaleza to Rio de Janeiro. I don't recommend. "
