I was warned that the airport will most likely be closed and it wouldn't be possible to stay there overnight. Since I arrived there at 11 pm and continued at 7 am further, I really needed to sleep at the airport, so I just stayed there and didn't have absolutely any problems. There were just few of us, not many people, both lights and AC were switched off so it was a perfect place to relax while waiting for another flight. WIFI available, but not for free (59 NOK per hour, 99 NOK / 2 hours). To conclude this experience - Trondheim Vrnes Airport can be without doubt recommended for an overnight stay :-)
