"Guadalajara's airport is a pretty good airport; it has plenty of flights to major cities in the USA and most mexican cities; you can connect easily to most cities in the world. The last time i used this airport i was heading to MAD via MEX and i was surprised because the airport has been rebuilt and it looks so nice now and it's really clean. The seating was fine, bathrooms were clean, there were a lot of stores open at 6 am and the staff was cool. It doesn't have any showers but i think it has something to do with the mexican culture; i think mexicans wouldn't take a shower in the airport. The only bad thing about this airport is that it's really small; a new terminal should be built, it needs more gates cuz sometimes all gates are taken but in general it's a good airport. I love it."

Arrived at A/P after midnight on flight from MEX had 8am connection to LAX.Air Con was turned down at gate waiting area and the mosquitoes became very active I moved to another area of the A/P the cleaning crews were starting and security asked me to leave the main terminal to an un air conditioned area where the mosquitoes feasted on myself and about 10 other people who were attempting to sleep about 5am I was allowed to re enter but had to go threw security again.It was miserable.If you look around a bit you will find some seats that have the arm rest removed and you can stretch out a little but recommend eye shades and ear plugs
