Frequent Flyer Program: Etihad Guest, the frequent flyer program, has four tiers of membership and enables passengers to redeem miles for multiple benefits, such as class upgrades. The airline has a tie-up with American Airlines’ AAdvantage, and in 2019 a new partnership, enabling Etihad Guest members to earn miles when booking accommodation through booking.com, was announced.

Layover Tour: Passengers facing a layover can take advantage of a free two-night stopover in Abu Dhabi. They can take advantage of a host of 3* or 4* hotels stay at for free and explore the city. Availability and terms apply.

For those with more time on their hands, Etihad offers a 2 for 1 stopover package in Abu Dhabi, allowing passengers to stay for up to four days. The airline will cover the cost of one night’s accommodation, and passengers will be able to stay at the city’s premium 4* and 5* star hotels for a fraction of the normal price. The aim is to give flyers an opportunity to relax or to explore the region further.
