Cartagena Airport Information

In this guide we may refer to locations as "landside" and "airside". Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

Airport WiFi / Internet

Free WiFi is available at Cartagena Airport. Connect to the “Sacsa Gratis” Network.

Pro-Tip: Free WiFi through the Sacsa Gratis network is available inside the gates, but not in the check-in area. However, there is one spot just outside the international gate where you can connect to the Free WiFi network. The Sacsa Gratis network is accessible in the far back corner to the right of the international gates.

More Services, Facilities & Things To Do On A Layover At The Airport

  • ATMs / Cash Machines - There are 8 banks providing ATMs located throughout the airport.
  • Banking - Bancolombia offers full-service banking and an ATM in Domestic Arrivals, landside. Hours: 8:00AM - 11:30AM and 2:00PM - 4:30PM (Mon-Thurs) *same hours but open until 5:00PM on Friday.
  • Car Rentals - Yes, see our Airport Transportation section below.
  • Currency Exchange - Americambios - Location: Landside, International Arrivals Terminal. Hours: 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM.
  • Duty Free & Shopping - Duty Free is available as well as a small selection of shops. Hours: according to flight schedule.
  • Food & Drinks - Food concessions can be found in both terminals. There are no 24-hour options. Restaurants/Cafes are open 3:00AM - 12:00AM in the Domestic Terminal whereas in the International Terminal they operate from 6:00AM - 3:30PM or 11:00PM depending on the day’s operations.
  • Information Desk - Location: Landside, Main Hall, in front of Check-in Counters. Hours: open 24 hours.
  • Luggage Storage & Lockers - Not available.
  • Medical Services - The airport has a Medical Center. Location: Landside, 1st Floor. Hours are not known.
  • Mobile Charging - At the time of this update, we did not have any information about mobile charging availability. If you know, write a review or email us at guides@sleepinginairports.com.
  • Pharmacy - Yes a Drugstore is available in the Main Hall. Hours: according to flight schedule.
  • Rest Zones - Not available.

Car Rentals

Car rental agencies are available onsite in the Arrivals area of the Domestic Terminal.

Taxis

Fixed-rate prepaid taxis are readily available for hire in the ground transportation area of the airport. Pay at the taxi ranks located at the Domestic and International terminals, then present the receipt to your driver before starting your journey.
