What to Expect
Rzeszów Airport (code: RZE) has a small but modern terminal that opened in 2012. Amenities include several eateries, a few shops, a duty-free area, and free WiFi. Economy class passengers can pay to enter an airport lounge. See Airport Lounges in the guide below for location and access information.
Sleeping in Rzeszów Airport
This airport seems to close nightly, from 12:00AM until 4:00AM, but you may be able to stay inside if you arrive before midnight. Still, it’s best to have a backup plan in case security doesn’t allow overnight campers. If you do get lucky, there are plenty of armrest-free benches and the area seems to quiet down. Baby Care Facilities – If you are travelling with an infant, there are 4 baby care rooms for breastfeeding and diaper-changing. Locations: Landside, Ground Floor, Check-in Area • Airside, Ground Floor, Baggage Claim • Airside, 1st Floor, opposite Gate 1 • Airside, 1st Floor, opposite Gate 4.
Conference Facilities – The VIP Lounge doubles as a conference room when booked out entirely. Services include a phone, fax, printer, beverages and snacks. The room seats up to 12 people. There is also a 26-person conference room that is equipped with air conditioning, a multimedia projector, a portable screen, a printer, a telephone and a fax machine.
Currency Exchange – Foreign exchange services are available. Location: centre hall on the Ground Floor. Hours: unknown.
Duty Free & Shopping – Duty Free is available as well as a small selection of other shops.
Disabled Services – Services include handicap parking, intercoms, designated meeting points, handicap toilets, elevators, and special information desks and check in counters.
Food & Drink – At the time of this update, there are no 24-hour options are available. However, there are plenty of options both Landside and Airside.
Information Desk – Need help finding your way? An information desk can be found in the centre hall on the Ground Floor.
Luggage Storage & Lockers – Not available.
Medical Services – If you feel unwell or injure yourself, first aid services are available. Location: Landside, Ground Floor.
Mobile Charging – A reader (August 2018) mentioned that there are power outlets to charge your mobile devices throughout the airport.
Observation Deck – Relax and watch planes taking off and landing from the vantage point of the airport’s observation deck. Location: on the 2nd Floor.
Prayer Rooms – Located on the first floor, in front of the elevator. Hours: open during flight schedules. Mass provided on Sundays and Catholic Holidays at 1:00PM and 3:10PM.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport
Bus

Taxi
Taxis are available at a 24-hour taxi rank in front of the new passenger terminal. The airport recommends the use of ideacars, but other companies are present. Make sure your chosen taxi has a sticker indicating the price per kilometer, a license and vehicle registration number and a TAXI sign.
