What to Expect

Augusta Airport consists of a single small terminal. Amenities are limited to a cafe, a restaurant, a gift shop, all of which close by the early evening. Free WiFi helps pass the time. No pay-to-use airport lounges are available.

Where to Sleep

Details are limited, but the airport quietens down significantly around 6:00PM and airport staff seem understanding of those who have to camp out for the night. For uninterrupted sleep, nearby hotels offer free shuttle service for guests. See our Airport Hotels section below for more info.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

There are no pay-per-use lounges in the airport.

Military Lounge

Military Hospitality Suite – August Airport provides a private suite that is accessible to active and retired members of the U.S. Military. The suite is equipped with a big screen TV, computer workstations, 5 large recliners, a children’s play area and a library. Location: Landside, across from check-in desks. Hours: Unknown.
