Santa Rosa Airport (code: STS) consists of a small, renovated terminal with a restaurant and vending machines. WiFi is available to help pass the time. There are no private lounges at this airport.

Sleeping in Santa Rosa Airport

Good to Know

Shuttle bus service connects the airport with the nearby Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit station, and express buses provide regular service to Oakland International Airport and San Francisco International Airport.

Art in the Airport – Visitors to the airport can enjoy sculptures, comic strips and other artwork dedicated to Charles M. Schulz, the airport’s namesake and man behind the Peanuts comic strip. The airport is in the process of adding local artworks to their collection.

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: Landside, near check in area.

Baggage Carts – Need a hand with your luggage? Baggage carts are available free of charge near the front entrance (landside).

Food & Drinks – At the time of this update, there are no 24-hour food and beverage options available. You will find concessions open during flight operational hours. Vending machines are available.

Information Desk – Have any questions? Visit the airport’s assistance booth for help. Volunteers are available at the Information Desk to assist you.

Luggage Storage & Lockers – Not available.

Mobile Charging – Available in the Terminal including in the gate areas. For $20 (credit cards accepted) you receive a portable charging rod/stick to power up your devices which you can then reload for free or swap for a charged unit anywhere that Fuel Rods are sold. The rods power phones for 8 hours of talk time and tablets for up to 4 hours of usage.

Pet Services – Travelling with a 4 legged companion? The airport has an area for pets to stretch their legs, drink water and take their potty breaks. Location: Landside.

Smoking – Smoking is prohibited within the airport terminal. The only designated area to smoke is landside, before entering the airport.

A reader tells us “The terminal opens/closes two hours before/after the first/last flight of the day.”  The airport is closed at night and you will be kicked out if you attempt to stay overnight. Make alternative arrangements.  (December 2022)
