Ulan Ude Airport (code: UUD) has a small, modernized terminal that handles domestic and international traffic. A new terminal may be under construction. Amenities include a few eateries and cafes and three small shops. WiFi is available for a fee.

More Services, Facilities & Things To Do On A Layover

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Fees may apply, so check your bank’s fee schedule and daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: unknown.

Baby Care Services – If you are travelling with an infant, there is a baby care room for breastfeeding and diaper changing. Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM. The exact location is unknown.

Baggage Carts – Need a hand with your luggage? Baggage carts are available free of charge in the Arrivals area.

Duty-Free & Shopping – There is an Aerotrade Duty-Free store, as well as a gift shop available for passengers.

Food & Drinks – At the time of this update, it is unknown whether there are any 24-hour dining options. There are at least three cafés. Locations: Airside, Departures Area, 1st Floor • Landside, Arrivals Area.

Luggage Storage & Lockers – Location: Arrivals Hall. Rates: from 150 rubles per 24 hours for a standard locker. For larger lockers, the rate is 300 rubles per 24 hours. Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (closed for lunch from 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM).

Luggage Wrapping – Protect your bags from theft and damage by having them wrapped in plastic. Available in the ticketing area. Rate: RUB 450 per piece of luggage.

Medical Services – If you feel unwell or injure yourself, a medical center can be found. Hours: 24 hours daily. The exact location is unknown.

Showers – Not available.

Travel Agencies – If you are arriving in Ulan Ude and need local arrangements or help planning a last-minute trip abroad, there is a Ticket Office (Domestic Terminal) that can assist you.

WiFi / Internet – WiFi is available at Lake Baikal Airport for a fee. Free WiFi is available inside the business lounge and at the Orda Café located airside on the 1st Floor of the Departures Hall.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport

Buses

Local bus routes 28, 55, and 77 all connect the airport to the city center. Buses operate from 6:15 AM – 7:00 PM, stopping at the airport approximately every 10 minutes. As of this update, the bus fare is RUB 20.
