It was hotter than a furnace! I was dripping in sweat.

Andaman Island is part of India, but unlike India, it's very clean and virtually pollution-free. But, just like mainland India, it's EXTREMELY hot and humid (around 100 degrees), especially in March when I was there. I was horrified to discover that the airport had NO air-conditioning in the check-in area when I was flying back to mainland India! It was hotter than a furnace! I was dripping in sweat. There were ceiling fans high above, but they had no effect at all. Plus, it was really crowded with a ridiculously long and slow-moving line for the security check. Thank goodness the actually gate area is air-conditioned. But just getting through the security check line took over an hour which seemed like an eternity. It was pure torture.
