"Of the 35 people who spend the night near me-mostly Brasilians -I was the only one who slept reasonably well, due to my cardboard box" (savan)
"The security guards were nice enough; they asked me to move but only so they could keep an eye on me while I slept." (?)
"The new terminal looks like a palace," (Filipe)
"guards came round shaking people and saying 'no sleeping'! We were allowed to sit all night, as long as we didn't fall asleep...." (Alex)

"After reading other reports was initially wary, however experience was pleasant and managed a few hours sleep in Terminal Two Departures pre-security. Spacious and quite modern, good toilet facilities for Latin America, seating was metal benches separated with armrests - some had padding, others didn't. Reasonably comfortable and possible to sleep 'under' the armrest dividers allowing full reclining position although need some kind of pillow/thick jacket to rest head against. Initally sat in food court area which had wifi, metal chairs and tables but was moved on by cleaning staff after the only night outlet 'gate zero' cafe serving hot food, alcohol... closed at around 3am. 6 Reals for a hot drink. Warmer upstairs in checkin-desk area, quite cold in food court/ground floor. Very quiet, only a couple of announcements all night. Strong security personal presence, felt safe as a young female. Would sleep here again."
