Metal seats make it quite drafty, so buy a newspaper to spread over the seats and get a coat out of your luggage before putting it in storage. -Polonius

September 2015 - Istanbul Ataturk airport is filled to the rafters with passengers and the food sold in the food court is appalling. There are so many people that seats provided are inadequate. Every one is sitting just about anywhere. It's like a refugee camp. I stayed in the lounge and it made my 6 hour layover bearable. The food isn't a lot better, but at least I got a modicum of peace and quiet, with strong, free wifi. Outside the lounge wifi is charged.
