A few airport reviews from the archives

"Good! Just back from a short break in Mallorca, and due to huge delays, slept in the airport. So comfy, and just the right temperature.... If you can, go through to the gates, as there's more room there to get stretched out along the rows of soft(ish) seats, and it's much quieter. The only thing is, there are very few shops/cafes through by the gates, so if you want to buy something, best do it before security, or you could end up starving!"

"Stayed here a night as our flight was leaving in the morning and we are too cheap to get a hotel when there is a perfectly good airport to sleep in.
Arrived at 3pm (had to drop off rental car then). Unfortunately not much to do, a few shops on top level as well as 2 restaurant/takeaway things. Mc Donalds, Burger King and KFC are all behind the security by the gates so couldnt go there til 2 hours before flight. Very silly that.
There is an area on the 3rd floor with sunloungers, so spent some time lying in the sun. Otherwise there was no internet to be found or anything to do beyond shopping and eating.
We slept on the 3rd floor (departure floor). The seating had no armrests and was slightly cushy so comfortwise it was no problem. The airport has flights leaving all night so the airport stays open and no one disturbed us or told us to leave. The only annoying things are the neverending announcements, but they do slow down a little bit at night. But they havent got the German announcements grammatically correct yet, very annoying after a while!!
The toilets are ok, seen better and seen worse.
Would stay there again, might take earplugs next time though (didnt like Mallorca Island much though so doubt I'll be going there again)."
so, just how bad is this airport?
