Palma de Mallorca Airport Guide
In this section you will find traveller airport reviews as well as our Palma de Mallorca Airport Guide with info on WiFi, lounges, facilities and services....and yes, even the names of some airport hotels in case you decide that sleeping in the airport is not for you!
It was the best airport I've ever slept in. It was clean, calm (except for the time when some drunk Spanish guy started singing 'coocoorukuku Palooooma!'). - Pesolek
To help you plan your layover or overnight sleepover, we are here to give you the low-down on what travellers have reported back to us during their time at Palma de Mallorca Airport.
What to Expect
- A modern international airport with four terminals, or “modules”: A, B, C and D. Sections of some modules are closed during the winter months.
- A wide variety of shops and restaurants are available, including some 24-hour options! Most shops and restaurants are located landside, so do your shopping and eating before you clear security!
- Free WiFi is available. See WiFi in the airport guide below.
- Power outlets are hard-to-find. One reviewer had to charge their electronics in the bathroom!
Where to Sleep
- Although no specific sleeping spot was mentioned, reviewers described their overnight stay as quiet, comfortable and safe. Armrest-free seats and benches are available throughout the airport, but one reviewer recommends having a sleeping bag or travel blankets handy for added cushion when laying on the hard benches. Those items will also come in handy to help stay warm, as the terminal gets very cold inside, especially during winter!
- For uninterrupted sleep, there are hotels near the airport. See Airport Hotels in the airport guide below.
Good to Know
- Economy class passengers can pay to enter the airport’s first class lounge. See Airport Lounges in the airport guide below for locations and rates.
