"Due the delay of my plain i missed my connection train from the reilway station. So I decided to overnight at the airport because i didnt have too much money for overnight. I decided to do not go to the station because the next train to my destination city supposed to leave at 8 am and i heard that the it is full of homeless people and criminals. Later when i arrived over there in the morning i saw that i was right. The airport stuff was polite, nobody wanted to kick me out, there were some policemen to check irreguralities and there were polite, they even invited me for a cigarette because all the shops were already closed. I do not complain about it, there were no more flight leaving any more so the building could have been even closed. The cleaning stuff was a bit noisy and the air-condition too strong, i took a cold. Well et 5 am a shop was closed with a very unpolite stuff so i just decided to do not buy anything even i was already dieing for a cigarette. Finally opened a coffe shop in the mezzanine floor with nice, friendly stuff and even the prices was over the Bulgarian average but i think it is normal in airport buildings. Then i got a nice hot coffee and a package of Davidoff and then the world was again nice. The only negative where the taxi drivers which molested me all the time offering me prices and transfers to the city. I DO understand their hunger for money but it was unfair to cheat me with wrong informations and they didnt knew that i understood Bulgarian and so i can say be happy if you do not understund because they didnt use nice words about us fucking foreigners which are not willing to support their dirty businesses. Anyway apart of this i had a good impression about the airport and the stuff and security but it wouldnt be bad if the bust stop would have at least a ticket-automat, because it is not that funny to travel in the bus without ticket and the driver (which was again an idiot) cannot sell any of it. And i think a lots of people would even pay a bit more for a direct shuttle"

"Hi, well I didn't actually have to sleep there but a delayed flight certainly made the stay very painful, I think you should add Sofia Airport to your list... Athens is a paradise compared to this dump... bright orange plastic chairs revived from the 60's and literally nothing to do! Try sitting their for a few hours....mind you my last visit to this dump was in march of 97, however I do doubt that things have changed much."
