What to Expect
The small terminal at Trapani Airport (code: TPS) handles a few domestic and low-cost routes. Facilities include two eateries and a newsstand selling last-minute items. WiFi is free for 90 minutes.
Sleeping in Trapani Airport
The airport closes nightly, from 12:30AM until 4:30AM, so overnight stays are not possible. For uninterrupted sleep, nearby hotels offer free shuttle service. See our Airport Hotels section below for more info or read some traveller airport reviews for more tips.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airport Hours
The airport is open from 4:30AM – 12:30AM and closes at night so you will have to sleep outside. Note: The airport’s hours may vary according to operational needs as it also serves as a military airport, so it is best to consult the “News” Section on the airport website before arriving.
Airport Hotels
If sleeping in Trapani airport sounds like a nightmare, there are a number of small hotels within a 10-15 minute drive. The drive to Trapani is approx. 25+ minutes away. Visit Tripadvisor to see is a list of hotels near Trapani Airport that can be sorted by price, traveller rating and popularity.
Airport Lounges

Food choices are limited to Gran Cafe in the check-in/arrivals area and Briciole is available Airside. Vending machines are also available.

Luggage storage services are available. Location: Landside, Ground Floor, Arrivals Hall, near the Airport Services Office. Hours: 4:30AM – 12:30AM. Rates: €10,00 for the first day • plus €5,00 every additional day • plus €3.00 after the 7th day.
Mobile Charging
Totem charging stations are available on both Landside and Airside. Electrical outlets and USB ports are available.
