'Treviso airport is very small with only one or two gates. There is a large waiting room before security with seats that are not too comfortable to sleep in. However, if you bring a sleeping bag or something soft, you can just sleep on the floor. The airport closes after 11pm or so but the security allowed us to stay in so that we had the entire space to ourselves. It seems that it's a regular occurence for people to stay overnight. The security didn't seem to have a problem with it. There is a little restuarant/bar that sells sandwiches and drinks but that closes at night as well. It's not the Ritz but it'll do if you have a flight in the morning and you can't be bothered to pay for another night in a hotel. "

"I arrived at Treviso too late in the evening to find a hostel in Venice for the night so I tried sleeping in the departure area with several other people. Security came in around 1:30 am and kicked me out because I was not actually departing the next morning. I didn't know it at the time but there is a nice little hostel for 30 euros a night if you exit the airport and go left along the road for about 10 minutes. The sidewalk will eventually end but if you walk along the road for a little longer the hostel will be on your right. I would not recommend trying to stay in this airport unless you have an excellent reason or you plan on staying in the hostel if you get kicked out - there is absolutely nowhere else to sleep except for a field or a couple of parking lots."
