"I had to kill some time here on the way back to Houston from a jaunt to Monterrey in the springtime. This is an excellent airport to crash in. It's exceptionally clean and safe and I could have easily slept the night there had the bad weather in H-town necessitated it. They have a pretty good bar with local microbrewed beer where you can use any remaining pesos (but don't use dollars unless you want to pay a stiff spread on the exchange). All in all, it's an airport heavily used by businessmen so they keep it in pretty good shape. It is far from town so if you do get hung up overnight you might not feel like and/or have enough money to finance a taxi trip in and out (15) and a night on the town. I didn't have to spend the night, but from what I could tell, it wouldn't be that bad, at least as far as airports go."
