I stayed in this airport in October over night. I arrived in the evening, but my connection didn't leave until the next morning. Paying a hotel for a short night and organizing the transport back and forth...too much hassle and money. Therefore I stayed at the airport. I was looking for the cushioned benches reported from other travellers...I found the benches...but NO cushions. Since the benches were made from stone, I decided not to sleep on them...too cold, especially with air con being on freezing already! I decided to go for the floor, where I slept for a few hours until all the sleepers had to move, because they were washing the floors. After this you couldn't lay on the floor because it was still wet, so I moved to the chairs...I organized my bags in a way that made it as comfortable as possible (the armrests do not help).
In November I stayed in the airport again. My flight got in really late and I hadn't booked a hotel and the shuttles don't go to town at night. This time there was construction work going on, which made it really hard to get some rest.
Ear plugs help in this airport anyways since there are frequent loud announcements. The bathrooms are nice and clean!
